Hi, I'm Spencer.

I'm a data analyst, content creator, and technical writer based in Portland, Oregon. I'm passionate about using analysis and writing to deepen understanding and drive insights and innovation in fintech, open banking, and API ecosystems. As a data analyst at Platformable, I've worked with clients like Apidays, Gravitee, and a name-brand credit card company. I'm adept at managing large datasets, analyzing trends, and producing insightful reports that help guide strategic decision-making. Additionally, I contribute to thought leadership through blog posts and Platformable's trend reports, focusing on open banking and API industry developments

Before transitioning to data analysis, I worked as a freelance web designer, using my HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress skills to create custom websites for small businesses across the U.S.

I hold degrees in Website Development and Design from Portland Community College and Film Studies from Portland State University. This diverse educational background equips me with a unique blend of creativity and technical skills, allowing me to approach problems creatively while maintaining a solid technical foundation.
